To ensure a lasting contribution, New Yorker has also launched a specially designed collection from which a portion of the proceeds will also be donated to Haiti.
From Feb. 22, all of New Yorker’s European stores New Yorker will be selling themed clothing to obtain funds for Haiti. For each T-shirt sold at Kč 139 New Yorker pays Kč 70 to earthquake victims in Haiti.
Since its inception, the company has initiated a number of ways to contribute to social assistance and sustainable economic growth. “For us, helping people in Haiti is a natural thing. We hope that our customers will support us in that. Thousands of victims will still suffer the devastating consequences of a long earthquake. That is why it is important for us to secure long-term financial support for Haiti,” Knapp said in a press release.
