Nay plans five new outlets

Electronics chain Nay Cz is planning to expand in the Czech market this year. “We have about five projects in the pipeline; their realization will depend on the situation of projects of property developers,” Nay Cz director Petr Neuvirt told journalists on the sidelines of the Retail Summit held last week in Prague.

Slovakia’s largest electronics chain Nay entered the Czech market in 2008 by opening two outlets in Moravia but the company was forced to scale down its expansion plans last year due to “a number of reasons including delay of future projects of property developers.” Neuvirt declined to identify locations of its future outlets; he only said that they will offer 1,500-3,000 sqm of sales area.
