Law firm Havel & Holásek gave a check for Kč 100,000 (€3,800) to the aid organization Člověk v tísni (People in Need) on Jan. 22.

David Neveselý, a partner at Havel & Holásek, handed the check over to People in Need project manager Igor Klimeš. Havel & Holásek recently won the overall competition Law Firm of the Year 2009, organized by epravo.cz, through taking top honors in three out of 11 categories. People in Need is one of the largest non-profit aid organizations in the region and provides relief aid, development assistance and protection of human rights and democratic freedoms.
